Guilty Fast Food Pleasures
by Swan inokay, what is the one fast food that you just love, but are a little ashamed to admit to?.
a detective character (sue grafton's kinsey milhone) in some mysteries i read has these guilty fast food pleasures.
just about every day she runs for miles on the beach, but then she is invariably ends up ducking into the mcdonald's drive thru with her little vw and scarfing a big mac or quarter pounder.

Mine was similar to that (and yes I believe) my daughter was about 4-5 years old, had severe strep throat, woke up in the middle of the nite screaming/crying, I stumbled out of bed to go to her, and flipped on the hallway light. I had to walk by the bathroom to get to her room and I looked in the mirror as I passed by & saw my grandmother standing there. She died when I was about 10 or so. My mom says she was watching over my daughter. Scared the crap out of me!!

i never judge a movie by reviews or critiques.word of mouth means MUCH more to me
Me too....I usually love the ones the critics hate anyway.
i bet she loved "The Ring". that was an excellent film! i've seen in four times.
She did...I admit I had to sneak a peek at it when it came out on DVD....it scared the crap out of me. I had a nightmare when my friend described it to me!! Those movies & me don't get along...I'm such a scaredy kat!

He's riding the fence...he wants someone else to take the responsibility for his actions. If he waits on his wife to instigate the divorce then he's not going anywhere for awhile. Do you really want to spend energy that could be best spent elsewhere waiting on this guy? You've got 2 kids to think of now, live for them.
I get 2 different lines of what he is going to do back and forth.
Know it well. You've got a long road ahead of you, but get as much information from this site & others to determine your best course of action. Of course no one can tell you WHAT to do, only opinions. Having "been there done that" I can appreciate how you feel, and like I said earlier, I hope he proves me wrong. Doesn't sound like he will so far tho.

I can offer only from your standpoint, that being a Non-JW involved with a JW. My ex...lived the lie, took me with it because I didn't question his faith (none of my business) it was not until I became pregnant that I began to see what he was really doing. He lived the double life, I never met his parents and I was kept at arms length in that respect the whole time. I thought it was due to me being older than him & already being divorced with a child (that's what he kept telling me). He wanted to get married, bought the ring, everything. Needless to say, the pull of the cult, and his family was too much and he went back into the fold. He got married within 6 months and has recently become a father again. Where does this leave me? I have a son with this man and he is doing everything he can to raise him as a JW. The battle is the worse thing I've ever experienced and it's not something I wish to put my son through. I'm trying to do my very best, but fighting him and the organization is no fun. If he has to "do the right thing" then he's not going to do it with you. Chances are he does love you, and is no doubt having problems with his conscience, but he's still married, therefore "they" still have a hold on him and it seems to me, that hold is more than they can take. They usually bow to the pressure and you'll be left out.
Good luck on this, I hope he proves me wrong for your sake & your child's sake.

I was going to suggest Tabs as well, that's how my daughter is learning her electric guitar...altho she did play the violin for a couple years so she knows the chords. Go to any Music store in your area and they should lead you in the right direction!
Enjoy!!
